Happy Halloween!

Tonight was trick or treat night. At first, Evan wasn't so sure about going to people's houses he didn't know. After a few, he keep saying, "Just one more house, then we can go home." Just one more house ended up being about 15, but he had a blast. Happy Halloween everyone!

A Day Out With Thomas

We had a blast today at the Strassburg Railroad, going to see Thomas. I wasn't completely sure how Evan would react, but when he saw Thomas come in he started yelling and jumping "Yay Thomas, I get to ride you today!" He had a blast on the Thomas train, the miniature coal train and the caboose ride. He can't wait to see Thomas again.

Fun on the Farm

We took advantage of the long weekend over Labor Day and headed out to Ga and Pap's farm for the weekend. Much to everyone's surprise, Evan decided he wanted to ride the tractor, and the blue jeep! The tractor was quite a feat for our little man, who generally doesn't like loud noises. We played outside, saw the animals and visited with some family. A great way to spend a long weekend.

Officially a BIG BOY!

Today, Evan got his big boy bed. He's very proud and has been calling people and asking neighbors to come and see his new bed. While he would like to think he's going to sleep in the top part, he will be using the trundle until he is old enough to not scare the crap out us with the possibility of falling. For now though, he just seems happy to be a big boy :)

Yeah, it's been a while...

...but that's what happens when you have an active 2 year old. No computer time :) In the meantime, here is a fun video of Evan singing along with his Elmo Kitchen.
